One humoured: “Kemi Badenoch needs to apologise to Andy Burnham, she has mixed up eyelashes with his crowning glory, eyebrows?”
Another quipped: “I <3 Andy Burnham solely because I have eyelashes like that too, and it’s nice to see rep for men with pretty eyelashes.”
A third chimed in: “Kemi Badenoch commenting on Andy Burnham’s eyelashes is so real actually. So many men have lovely eyelashes and they don’t deserve them.”
Meanwhile, one signed off with a more serious message: “We have high hopes for a real change, please don’t let us down!”
